🎡 Wheel of Fortune

Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

This policy explains what Wheel of Fortune collects when you use Wheel of Fortune, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

If you create an account: your name, email address and a hashed password. Passwords are stored using bcrypt and are never readable by us.

If you enter a draw through a public entry form: the display name you provide, a contact number, which social platform you used, an optional profile link, and the screenshot you upload as proof. The contact number and screenshot are visible only to the organiser running that draw — never to other entrants or to the public.

If you are added to a wheel: your display name, which is shown publicly on that wheel and in its winners list. A contact number, if the organiser recorded one, stays private to them.

Draw results: we record which name won and when, so that draws are auditable.

Cookies

We set one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. It is httpOnly, expires after seven days, and is not used for tracking.

We may also serve third-party advertising. Advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. Where required, we ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

How long we keep it

  • Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.
  • Entry submissions and proof screenshots: kept by the organiser of that draw until they delete the entry. Ask them, or us, to remove yours.
  • Draw results: kept as a record of the draw.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. Data is processed on our own servers and shared only with the organiser of the draw you entered, plus any advertising partners described above.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Use the contact page and we will respond.

Children

This service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
